The hosts are scammers. Positive: Good location Negative: The hosts are scammers. Avoid! They take a 'security deposit' before they allow you to check-in (cash or credit card), then they refuse to return it after you check out. Booking.com are no help. They tell you to battle it out with the host and hang up the phone on you. Shocking. I checked out in March and still have not received my refund in the middle of April. Booking.com told me to check back with them at the beginning of May before they get involved. UPDATE (1 May, 2025): I have now been told I need to wait until May 23, 2025 for the hosts to refund my deposit. That will be 2!! months after my holiday. Do not do business with Malzil Life. Once your holiday has ended and you leave Dubai, you have very little scope to reclaim your deposit without a Section 75/Charge-back with your credit card company. Booking.com should remove the hosts from their platform.
