Positive: When I arrived at the property, I was asked to pay the deposit in cash. I didn’t have cash on me, so I insisted on paying via bank transfer, which they accepted.
It has now been over two months, and despite multiple messages and emails, my deposit has still not been returned. The host claimed the refund was made, yet they were unable to provide any proof of payment.
Booking.com customer service has also been unhelpful, and I am still without my deposit. This has been a very disappointing and stressful experience, and I would strongly advise future guests to be cautious when booking this property.
