Manzil - Splendid 3BR in Palm w Pvt Beach Access

The most comfortable staying for family with kids. Positive: Very spacious apartment Negative: View, location

Potential in need of brush up Positive: The pool and the beach were great - absolutely wonderful and peaceful. Gym available and a grocery store on parking level. The flat itself very nice, just several issues that didn't work for us. With a little effort, customer experience would easily be improved. Great views over the Palm Jumeirah villas and a local boat harbour. Dishwasher, plenty of kitchenware, two fridges etc. Trash container in a service room on the same floor. Negative: TV's didn't work. Someone had taken batteries off some remote controllers too. The master bedroom a/c smelled like sewer, rendering it unusable. Weather wasn't too hot at the time, so managed without. As a family with kids, we relied on the washing machine - which didn't work. It was taken out for repair but did not make it back before we left. Last two days we didn't get warm water. Cold showers it was. The general condition of the bathrooms and showers was the kind where seams and corners were dark and spotty. You know, in need of proper cleaning. A couple of the kitchen drawers didn't stay shut. All of these were communicated (via three different mediums) during the stay, and response received rather promptly, saying sorry and all, but no action taken to correct anything. As mentioned, with a little effort, these kinds of flaws would be fixed and the apartment would live up to expectations. This time we were left with a feeling that "we've got your money, just finish your stay and leave." Hopefully the Manzil experience will be better for next customers!

Amazing Positive: What was not to like. The Tiara residence is situated in a great location on the Palm. The apartment itself has amazing views across to the Atlantis hotel and with three separate bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, cracking lounge and kitchen area you couldn't need anymore for a perfect family stay. Our host managed to organise early check-in and late check out which really helped with our plans and he was always available if we needed anything. The apartment block share facilities with the adjacent hotel meaning that there is use of the fantastic swimming pool, beach and restaurant / bar areas. I did not want to leave!
